My Stock Market listed PLC client is currently seeking a Trade Branch Supervisor for their busy, thriving Branch located in Taunton. We are focused on speaking to candidates with the following attributes:

  • Supervisor/Team Leader Experience
  • Cash Handling Experience
  • Customer Facing Experience – dealing with people face-to-face
  • Good knowledge of IT
  • A driving license is ESSENTIAL, as a part of the role may involve delivering customers goods locally.
  • An FLT License would be beneficial, however not essential.

As specialists within their sector, they have a Trade Counter Network of around 250+ branches and have experienced a huge amount of growth in recent years. They are extremely keen on promoting from within and there is a great deal of scope with this position to advance through the business to Branch Manager and beyond!

Day to Day Duties will include:

  • Branch Supervisors are hands-on, lead by example, and work closely with the Branch Manager in day-to-day branch operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers
  • Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and Branch sales targets are achieved
  • Support the delivery of sales targets whilst developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Assist with the delivery of branch operations
  • Provide support and assistance to Branch colleagues as required
  • Support the Branch Manager to ensure team complete actions and activities on time, and in full
  • Ensure Branch team compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures
  • Undertake stocktakes and audits
  • Maintain maintenance records for Branch vehicles
  • Conduct Branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchanting
