About the Role:
A leading Engineering Company in Alfreton is looking to recruit a Process Operator / Shot Blaster to support the production of components for industrial turbine engines. This hands-on role involves abrasive blasting of large castings in a walk-in blast cabinet, preparing them for specialist coating processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out abrasive blasting of industrial components
- Mask parts before coating application
- Handle large castings with attention to detail
- Support wider production tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in abrasive blasting (e.g. shot blasting, grit blasting, or similar) is required
- Full training will be provided for those with limited experience
- An in-date forklift licence is desirable, but not essential
- Willingness to work overtime when required
