My client is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Manager to join their expanding team. As a successful and growing company in the fuel and heating industry.

About the Role

As a Sales Manager, you will lead the sales department and manage 2–3 Sales Managers/Project Managers. You will play a key role in developing and expanding commercial opportunities within the oil heating sector.

Your role will involve maintaining and strengthening existing customer relationships while addressing incoming sales inquiries and complaints. You will be responsible for conducting direct negotiations with customers, providing expert product knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer service.

This position requires travel across the UK to visit customer premises, where you will offer on-site advice, quotations, and support.

My client provides a comprehensive range of tank services for commercial, industrial, and domestic clients, including installation, removal, cleaning, disposal, and more for various tank types such as fuel, water, oil, and chemicals.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have experience in this sector. Product training will be provided to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day customer inquiries and requests.
  • Visit customers on-site to offer advice, quotations, and tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial approach, treating your work as your own business.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets.

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive, preferably in the fuel and heating industry or a similar field.
  • Strong track record in sales, with experience in product and service sales.
  • Ability to effectively develop and manage customer relationships.
  • A self-starter, dynamic, and driven to achieve goals independently while working within a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Exceptional communication skills, professional presentation, and reliability.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential.
