We are looking for an Operational Resource Planner to support the delivery of a comprehensive, efficient, and customer-focused repairs service. In this busy and fast-paced role, you will coordinate and schedule daily workloads for trade operatives and contractors, ensuring appointments are managed effectively, resources are maximised, and key performance indicators are consistently achieved. You will play a vital role in maintaining accurate systems, resolving scheduling challenges, and delivering a high standard of customer service to tenants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and schedule daily workloads for trades colleagues and contractors
  • Manage appointments and diaries to ensure service targets and KPIs are met
  • Maintain accurate records using both manual and computerised systems
  • Resolve scheduling issues efficiently to minimise disruption to customers
  • Communicate directly with tenants, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Monitor performance data and contribute to service improvements
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times
Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience managing appointments and diaries for large teams in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
  • Strong administrative experience, including maintaining accurate records
  • Experience using computerised and manual office systems
  • Experience communicating directly with members of the public
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and performance targets
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, email, meetings)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to use IT systems to input, manage, and analyse data
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, Customer Service, ICT, or equivalent relevant experience
  • High levels of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to equality and diversity
  • Availability to work 08:00–16:00 and occasional 09:30–17:30 shifts

  • Understanding of service delivery within a multicultural community
  • Awareness of housing or repairs services
