Our busy Kirkby-in-Ashfield based client are currently seeking an experienced Setter for their modern and innovative facility with immediate effect, on a temp to perm basis. As industry leaders in the timber trade sector, our clients are committed to a sustainable process at every stage and are eager to work with individuals to develop their knowledge and skillset through training and leadership at phases of their production.
The Role:
- You will be setting up jigs to required specifications.
- Leading a small team to drive their workforce and secure daily targets.
- Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery to minimise downtime.
- General machine minding, visual inspection and basic quality control.
- Ensuring working areas are clean, tidy and safe at all times.
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent timekeeping & attendance.
- Using basic hand tools, tape measures, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience of working within a Setter position.
Hours of Work/Pay:
- Monday to Thursday, 7am-4:45pm & Friday, 7am-3:30pm.
- £13.50 per hour (this goes up to £13.90 per hour after a 12-week period with bonuses).
- With regular overtime available in peaks.
