Immediate start. We are seeking a professional 7.5T driver to join our logistics/groundworks team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain skill in the groundworks trade. This will be a split role between driving and labouring. You will be required to transport equipment and a small team to locations across the midlands to and from jobs. Once at the location, you will be playing a hands-on role with the team to complete the tasks at hand in all aspects of groundworks.

Duties:

  • Safely operate a 7.5T lorry.
  • CSCS card required (green card).
  • Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring the integrity of cargo during transit.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks.
  • Be physically fit due to the nature of the role.

Requirements:

  • Valid 7.5T licence with a clean driving record (maximum 3 points).
  • Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with side curtain vehicles and delivery routes.
  • Familiarity with road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
  • Experience with loading and securing cargo.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills to liaise professionally with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently, in a team and responsibly, maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
