Delivering a range of business courses, using both on-site and remote delivery methods, the Freelance Instructor role is ideal for someone with team leadership and management experience who is looking to inspire others and help them develop new skills in the workplace.

The work is scheduled in advance, and the Instructor is provided with both Tutor materials (written guidance and a prepared presentation) and all materials necessary in advance of every course delivered. It is expected for the Instructor to use their own IT equipment (e.g. laptop and broadband when delivering remotely).

Training areas include:

  • First Aid
  • Business Development
  • Health and Safety
  • Customer Service
  • Personal Development

These encompass nearly 100 different course topics ranging from minute taking, up to mentorship, coaching and becoming a great leader. It is not expected for the Instructor to be competent to deliver all areas covered, and the Instructor would only be asked to deliver courses where they are comfortable doing so.

Course lengths vary from 1/2 day up to 3 days (for our Train the Trainer course), with the majority being 1 day in length. Travel expenses from home to site (when necessary) are paid at HMRC rates.
