About us
Our mission is to generate novel molecular insights that transform drug development and healthcare globally. Did you know that 60% of therapeutics don’t work and over 92% of clinical trials fail? The losses are staggering, from patients who urgently need treatment, to pharmaceutical organizations losing billions through failed trials. Inoviv is changing the drug development landscape with our novel proteomic solutions. We are pioneers in translating discovery-phase findings into validated multiplexed assays and in providing fully validated custom multiplexed LC-MS biomarker assays. These assays reveal a unique molecular signature for each patient’s disease. We work with some of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies and prominent academic institutions on cutting-edge projects, driving innovation and advancing scientific research. We are a VC-backed business at an exciting point in our growth trajectory.
Your mission
You will develop our pipeline of pharmaceutical clients and promote our technology within the scientific community. You will sell our LC-MS service-based assays for neurodegenerative diseases, fibrosis and oncology. You will also work closely with drug development companies to develop biomarker discovery experiments and targeted assays utilizing Inoviv’s rapid assay development modality, InoKey. You will be a crucial team member with the power to make a real, tangible impact on the company and influence how we grow the business.
The key responsibilities of a Senior Business Development Manager include, but are not limited to:

- Sales Funnel Management: Strategically build and manage a robust sales funnel to generate a high-quality pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of prospects that progress efficiently through the sales stages to a successful close.
- Territory Planning and Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan designed to facilitate new customer acquisition, specifically targeting key pharmaceutical accounts.
- Lead discussions with technical support related to mass spectrometry-based proteomics, neurodegenerative diseases, fibrosis, and the benefits of our platform to deliver diagnostic, prognostic or treatment efficacy biomarkers for clinical trials.
