Supply Chain & Quality Manager – Aerospace (On-site)

Contract: 12 months+

Location: Derby

Rate: £41.00/hr

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a hands-on leadership role within a dynamic aerospace environment, working directly within a multi-disciplinary team. You\’ll collaborate closely with manufacturing and supplier partners, driving supply chain excellence and ensuring world-class product quality across industrialisation and production phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor supplier performance, analyse capacity/load, and ensure production readiness for rate changes.
  • Oversee transfer of work and design-change industrialisation activities with suppliers.
  • Lead all quality actions: non-conformity resolution, corrective measures, concessions, and formal quality reviews (SARI/QSR).
  • Implement and manage APQP and Supplier Quality Improvement Plans (SQIP) for robust prevention and continuous improvement.

What You\’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in supply chain and quality management within aerospace, automotive, or heavy manufacturing.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and clear, proactive communication.
  • Ability to analyse supplier performance data and deliver concise reporting.
  • Practical expertise in problem solving and crisis/recovery management.
