Building Services Engineer / Clerk of Works is required for a leading UK-based organisation operating within the Defence and Aerospace sector. The company delivers complex infrastructure and engineering programmes across secure manufacturing and mission‑critical environments supporting national defence projects.
You will act as the department's eyes and ears on site, overseeing Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric installations to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality, compliance and design specification.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Building Services Clerk of Works, M&E Inspector or Site Inspector
- Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, British Standards and H&S legislation
- Experience inspecting industrial or secure site installations
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline (HNC/HND/Degree/City & Guilds)
- Full UK driving licence (regular multi-site visits required)
Desirable:
- ICWCI membership
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Experience within Defence, Aerospace or high-security environments
