I'm working with an ambitious organisation on a five‑year roadmap to become a technology‑first business, delivering major transformations. This role offers real progression and the chance to play a key role in shaping how cyber security supports that journey. You'll act as deputy to the Group Head of Cyber Resilience & Security, providing trusted cover and leadership across day‑to‑day operations and governance.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support and lead security incident response, including high‑impact incidents.
- Deliver risk assessments across projects, services, and third parties.
- Oversee vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Support ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials compliance.
- Contribute to access management and privileged access improvements.
- Maintain audit‑ready security documentation.
- Represent the cyber function in stakeholder meetings when required.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years' cyber security experience, ideally in a software‑led environment.
- Strong GRC background with hands‑on incident response experience.
- Exposure to major incidents and complex security challenges.
- Understanding of access management, vulnerability management, and technical security.
- Confident, dependable, and able to step up when senior cover is needed.
Location: Remote‑first, with occasional on‑site visits (around once per quarter)
