We are looking for a Head of Engineering to help modernise our engineering function. The role is ideal for someone who started as a software engineer, led teams at scale, and now enjoys shaping people, platforms, and engineering culture.
You will step into an established environment with around 15 engineers, focusing on:
- Bringing structure and consistency to delivery
- Evolving a monolithic platform towards microservices
- Embedding CI/CD pipelines into day‐to‐day engineering practice
- Supporting a wider move towards AWS and cloud‐native tooling
This role is about raising standards, improving flow, and setting technical direction.
Working pattern: Office-based initially to build context and relationships, Hybrid (2 days office / 3 remote) long term.
