iO Associates are an award-winning consultancy in need of an experienced Financial Controller to join them on a fixed-term contract basis. They work across a number of sectors providing technology and digital solutions. With clients such as TalkTalk and Opus Energy, they have helped clients transform internal operations, saving time and money. They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to work with an Energy client based in North Africa on a large transformation project. This is a broad finance leadership role, working closely with and shadowing the CFO, offering exposure to senior decision-making and strategic oversight. The role requires someone who is able to travel internationally and is fluent in French.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent senior finance role
- Strong background in asset-based organisations, ideally within: Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure
- Experience working with state utilities or national-scale organisations is highly desirable
- Comfortable in broad, unstructured roles with senior exposure
- Demonstrated capability and ambition to progress into a CFO role
- Fully flexible to travel internationally, including Africa
