Our client is seeking an experienced Functional Test Analyst to support application testing within a secure environment. This role requires a hands-on tester who can validate application behaviour, define testing approaches, and work closely with multiple delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities- Validate application behaviour against requirements
- Execute test scenarios and document test results
- Identify risk areas associated with project delivery and testing objectives
- Define and implement an appropriate test framework
- Determine and manage testing environment requirements
- Create automated test scripts where required
- Collaborate with multiple teams to agree testing criteria
- Analyse test data and produce reports, defect lists, and recommendations
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack
- Previous experience supporting server migrations
- Experience with functional and automated testing
- Familiarity with Linux and Docker (desirable, not essential)
- Experience using Jira and Wiki tools (desirable)
- Comfortable working remotely and with distributed teams
- Experience working in air-gapped environments (desirable)
