Rate: Up to £200 p/d

iO Associates is supporting a large public sector organisation based in London on an exciting Windows 11 laptop deployment project, and we’re looking for two experienced First Line IT Support Officers to join the team urgently. This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role supporting the roll‑out of approximately 5,000 new Windows 11 laptops, where you’ll play a key part in deployment sessions, end‑user support, and post‑deployment “hypercare.”

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead deployment sessions - set up rooms, prepare equipment, and guide users through the rollout process
  • Install and configure new laptops, ensuring accurate inventory management and retrieval of old devices
  • Configure software applications and operating systems, with a focus on Windows 11
  • Test and troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure smooth operation
  • Provide first‑line support to end users, both onsite and remotely, during and after deployment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deployment activities, issues, and resolutions
What do we need from you?
  • Proven experience providing first‑line IT support in a professional environment
  • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Windows 11 (essential)
  • Previous experience supporting or participating in a laptop deployment or hardware refresh project (desirable)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work onsite full‑time in central London
