iO Associates is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join the team at the Filton site of a leading global aerospace organization. This company is renowned for its work across commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of forward-thinking projects within a collaborative team that is helping shape the future of aviation and space innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance management cases.
  • Manage and advise on industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with collective agreements and relevant UK legislation.
  • Conduct impartial investigations into employee concerns, compile detailed reports, and recommend fair and legally sound resolutions.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and collaborate across HR functions to drive policy development and deliver training on ER/IR topics.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations Advisor or similar HR role, ideally within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, industrial relations frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Skilled in investigations, problem-solving, and handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
