About the Role
As a DevOps Team Lead, you will:
- Lead and mentor a growing DevOps team, ensuring alignment with project deliverables and organisational goals.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering to define and implement DevOps strategies supporting the secure deployment of AI solutions.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in developing and optimising CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and cloud environments.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with exposure to GCP and Azure.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a DevOps leadership or management role with a strong technical background.
- Hands-on expertise with AWS; experience with GCP or Azure is a plus.
- Proficiency in containerisation technologies, particularly Kubernetes and Docker.
- Previous experience working on MOD or defence-related projects; familiarity with Navy Digital is highly desirable.
- SC clearance is essential; DV clearance is highly desirable.
