In this hands-on role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring product quality, improving processes, and driving operational excellence across our sites. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll combine scientific analysis, problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality standards, mitigate risks, and optimise performance. You’ll help to implement quality and CI strategies across multiple operational areas, support root cause investigations, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. You’ll help to foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, while contributing to cross-functional collaboration and the overall success of our QC and CI programs.

About you:
- You come from a quality control or continuous improvement background, maybe from a laboratory or production environment.
- It would be great if you have a life science, science or engineering education/background.
- You’re flexible and adaptable to change, comfortable moving from task to task, and project to project.
- You’re collaborative and can work with multiple teams, departments and stakeholders.
- You’re proactive, process driven, curious to ask what, why and how.
- You have a continuous improvement mindset and like to investigate and solve problems.
- You’re experienced with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, FMEA, and process mapping. Ideally, you’ll hold a yellow belt qualification, maybe even a green belt.
- You’ll be working with a project lead who is a black belt – we even have a master black belt.
Location/Benefits:
- Working at our Hillcrest site in Belton (NW Leicestershire), this is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday between 08:00-16:15.
- Salary upwards of £37,850 (depending on experience).
- 33 days holiday (including 8 public holidays).
