What You’ll Be Doing
- Electrical work – lighting, sockets, and fault‑finding including upgrades and small project work
- Maintaining air handling equipment (filters, belts, pulleys)
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on plant and building systems
- Operating and maintaining steam systems (including high‑pressure boilers and fittings)
- Maintaining hot and cold water systems, pumps, and chemical dosing systems
- Working with BMS (Trend Vision) systems, valves, actuators, and motor controllers
- Servicing drainage and effluent systems
- Occasionally working on DALI computerised lighting systems
About You
- Has experience in on‑site maintenance (electrical or mechanical bias)
- Ideally completed an electrical apprenticeship or holds up‑to‑date electrical installation regs (mechanical qualifications also considered)
- Is confident using a computer or maintenance software (CAFM experience is a plus)
- Enjoys taking ownership of work and finding solutions independently
- Can adapt when priorities change – flexibility is key here
- Works well as part of a supportive team and helps others when needed
- Has a good understanding of safe working practices and health & safety
