About Us: Inoltra is a privately owned specialist IT recruitment agency with offices in London and New Jersey, supporting clients across the globe.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Assistant to join us and take ownership of our finance function, working closely with our Stakeholders and Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in accounting within the dynamic field of recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions on a regular basis.
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
  • Supporting the preparation of financial documents such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
  • Providing administrative support to the finance department as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate management accounts.
  • Managing internal commission calculations.
  • Work with payroll software, to prepare payment run.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Preferred).
  • ACCA or Part ACCA qualified (or other relevant training provider).
  • Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Xero would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting principles and regulations.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
