Structural Engineer - Steel Frame Structures - Dorset

Responsibilities include:

  • Temporary Works Design for Steel Frame Projects
  • Design of temporary works solutions for Temporary Stability of Steel Framed Structures and Temporary Bracing
  • Site visits to assess Temporary Works Requirements and assist Project and Construction teams as required
  • Check calculations produced by others to ensure compliance with project requirements

Requirements:

  • Structural or Civil Engineering Degree level education
  • Temporary Works Design related to steel structure
  • Experience in member and connection design
  • Detailed understanding of engineering principles
  • Aware of the requirements of the CDM regulations relating to structural design
