Role & Responsibilities
- Temporary Works Design for Steel Frame Projects
- Design of temporary works solutions for:
- Temporary Stability of Steel Framed Structures and Temporary Bracing
- MEWP's on Steel Frames
- Jacking and Propping
- Material Storage/Laydown
- Lifting
- Identify improvements to solutions proposed by others
- Site visits to assess Temporary Works Requirements and assist Project and Construction teams as required
- Check calculations produced by others to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Essential
- Structural or Civil Engineering Degree level education
- Temporary Works Design related to steel structure
- Experience in member and connection design
- Detailed understanding of engineering principles
- Awareness of the requirements of the CDM regulations relating to structural design
- Remote working is an option for an experienced Engineer (Chartered preferred)
