Project Engineer with experience in Formwork / Temporary Works Design to manage and deliver high-quality temporary works designs and solutions for infrastructure projects.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage temporary works design, predominantly for formwork and falsework structures
  • Carry out and verify structural calculations
  • Produce and review detailed drawings
  • Work collaboratively with customer site teams, designers and subcontractors to implement safe and efficient temporary works.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers internally

Essentials:

  • Extensive experience in temporary works design, especially formwork and falsework.
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Ability to carry out structural calculations and produce clear, detailed drawings.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodology and safety regulations (e.g., BS5975).
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE) preferred
