The Role We seek an experienced CAD Manager to lead our design team, ensuring high standards in jewelry design and manufacturing. This leadership role requires a passion for jewelry, team development, and client relations. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development: Lead and motivate the CAD design team, conduct regular meetings, train new members, and enhance skills. Quality Assurance & Technical Excellence: Review CAD files, uphold design standards, and collaborate with production to resolve technical issues. Client Management: Communicate with clients regarding design specifications, timelines, and feedback. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Participate in leadership meetings, coordinate with production and quality teams, and drive process improvements. Essential Requirements Technical Skills: 3-5 years CAD experience, proficiency in Rhino, MatrixGold preferred, knowledge of jewelry design, manufacturing, gemstone setting. Management Experience: At least 1 year leading or mentoring teams, performance management skills. Essential Qualities Attention to detail, strong communication, problem-solving, ability to multitask, client-facing experience, leadership qualities, organizational skills, adaptability. Desirable Qualities Experience with rendering software, additional CAD packages, knowledge of precious metals, manufacturing experience, project management, 3D printing, quality control understanding.
