This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. Due to the remote location, access to your own transport is essential. This is a full-time position, however we are open to discussion on flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).

Base pay range

Salary: £24,804 + up to £5,430 on target earnings. This range is provided by Inntravel | B Corp™. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

About the role

  • Offer expert advice to customers over the phone and guide them to make the best holiday choice in our contact centre.
  • Use a CRM system to manage customer interactions, track enquiries, and maintain accurate records.
  • Deliver sales through exceptional service.
  • Build trust and rapport with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Book all elements of customers\\\’ holidays, including accommodation, transport (flights, rail, transfers, ferries) and any additional services.
  • Retain ownership of the booking until the firm itinerary has been decided.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team targets.
  • Consult with customers to encourage them to make informed decisions based on their preferences and travel goals.
  • Respond to enquiries and quote requests in a timely manner, following up on quotes to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Manage customers’ expectations by ensuring they are clear about what to expect from Inntravel during the reservation and confirmation process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, quotes and sales to enable efficient bookings.
  • Switching customers to alternative holidays if their first holiday choice is not possible.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and communicate with internal departments effectively.

This role is available part-time (minimum hours 30 per week) or full-time (37.5 hours per week) over 7 days on a rota basis. Working hours will be between 8am and 8pm depending on the time of the year.

  • Excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Keen eye for detail and ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment.
