Your typical day in this role:
Our People are at the heart of everything we do. Youâll be welcomed into our People Team, supporting our ambitions in our âProud to Careâ and âWe Deliver Excellenceâ company values. Youâll play a key role as a trusted partner in the people team, supporting all levels of the business, driving people capability, coaching managers to strive for high performing teams, engagement, retention and motivation.
You will utilise your experience in a generalist background to get stuck in the day to day, whether it be recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, recognition or colleague engagement. You will play an integral role in our change and culture agenda, supporting transformation and embedding fundamentals through the colleague experience lifecycle.
Utilising data and insight to identify people trends, root cause issues, help shape action plans to enhance our people foundation, challenging the status-quo along the way and striving to make improvements happen. All whilst empowering a positive and inclusive culture and supporting our colleagues across the business feel supported and heard.
Youâll already have:
- Strong HR Generalist Experience (HRBP, People Partner, Senior Advisor, Junior HRBP, etc.) ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong trust building and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation through credibility, engagement and approachability.
- The ability to work in an environment that embraces coaching, guiding and rolling up your sleeves yourself.
- Experience demonstrating resilience and flexibility, youâll make things happen despite obstacles, shifting priorities and high pace.
- Experience in supporting culture change, helping build manager capability and implementing people fundamentals.
- Demonstrable experience of juggling operational and strategic balance, not only can you handle the nuts-and-bolts of People delivery but also contribute to and execute the people strategy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to partner effectively, challenge with tact, build relationships and drive change.
- A qualification such as CIPD (or working towards) is desirable.
