Job Description
Job Role: Building Safety Case Manager
Location: Field based, Travel required within the South East / London / M25 area
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

Main Purpose of Job:
The Building Safety Case Manager oversees and ensures the safety and compliance of all systems, structures, and operations within a portfolio of High-Rise Buildings. This role entails maintaining the building safety case, closely monitoring safety protocols, conducting building inspections, auditing documentation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and evolving building safety legislation.
Main Responsibilities:
Ongoing management of all aspects of the Building Safety Case, including the below:
- Maintain detailed records of any incidents, inspections, mandatory occurrence reports and subsequent actions
- Review content of all key building safety documents on production, challenging recommendations where necessary
- Periodic document audits
- Carry out regular building inspections to ensure adherence to regulations, recommendations and company policies and effective maintenance programmes
- Key interface with the Regulator, providing any feedback or information required
- Prepare and submit all required documentation to the Regulator upon request
- Finance and procurement management
- Regular and effective reporting to the Client on the status and compliance of the building
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current building safety legislation in England and Wales

Experience:
- Leasehold experience
- Strong understanding of building safety legislation
- Experience in property management / Asset management / health and safety or related field
- IRPM / NEBOSH or similar related qualification desirable
Technical Skills (If appropriate):
- Presentation skills
- Project management skills
- Reporting, confidently using Excel and PowerPoint
- Full UK Driving license
