The Role
As an Integration Test Engineer, you’ll play a key part in implementing new automation systems and upgrading existing ones. Your role will involve designing and executing test strategies, from functional tests to full system acceptance on-site. You\’ll act as a bridge between technical teams and clients, ensuring that systems meet requirements and perform seamlessly in real-world operations.
This is a hybrid role , blending remote work with regular travel to customer sites for system commissioning and testing. You’ll be working with diverse teams, including software, controls, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
️ Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage test strategies, plans, and scripts
- Lead commissioning and testing activities at client sites
- Support project delivery during early-life phases
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and readiness
- Take part in design reviews to offer test and operational insights
✅ Desirable (Not Essential) Skills
- Degree or equivalent in a technical field
- Mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications
- QA/testing experience in automation or related environments
- Experience with automated warehouse systems and WMS integration
- Understanding of PLCs and sensor technologies in industrial automation
