Site Engineer – £47,000 – £53,000 | Lutterworth Site-Based | Permanent | Automated Warehouse Environment Are you an experienced Site Engineer with a background in automation? We\’re recruiting for a skilled multi-disciplined Engineer to join a forward-thinking team in Lutterworth. This is a site-based position offering long-term stability and the chance to work with cutting-edge automated systems. The Role: You’ll be responsible for electrical and mechanical breakdowns, planned preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects across a variety of advanced automated equipment. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out PPM and breakdown maintenance on automated systems including conveyors, robotics, pallet stackers, and packaging machinery. * Prioritise and diagnose system faults efficiently to minimise downtime. * Complete scheduled repairs to manufacturer and industry standards. * Ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance activities. * Support site continuous improvement initiatives. * Comply with Health & Safety policies at all times. * Comfortable working at heights when required. The Person: We’re looking for a hands-on engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced, automated environment. You will need: * Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification in Electrical OR Mechanical Engineering. * Proven experience working on automated machinery. * PLC knowledge – Siemens S7 experience desirable (other PLC systems also considered). * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. * A positive, proactive approach with strong communication skills. * Comfortable in a customer-facing environment and working at heights.
