Senior Site Supervisor

Are you ready to take the lead on large-scale, complex installation projects in one of the world’s most dynamic airport environments? We are partnering with a global leader in material handling technology to hire a Senior Site Supervisor to join their expanding UK delivery team.\\n\\nIn this position, you will play a key role in driving the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of major baggage handling system installation projects. You’ll support and guide site teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure seamless delivery from installation through to commissioning.\\n\\nAs a Senior Site Supervisor, you will be the go-to person on site—ensuring installation activities are delivered safely, on schedule, and in alignment with project requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:\\n\\n * Leading the creation and execution of installation plans alongside the Construction & Project Management teams.\\n\\n * Monitoring installation performance, ensuring work meets technical, safety, quality, and budget standards.\\n\\n * Driving a “right first time” approach across all construction activities.\\n\\n * Coordinating daily communication with project managers, subcontractors, and wider site teams.\\n\\n * Managing E&M subcontractor performance and ensuring compliance with project specifications.\\n\\n * Championing a strong safety culture throughout all phases of site delivery.\\n\\n * Preparing logistics plans, installation readiness assessments, and site layout documentation.\\n\\n * Overseeing steelwork installation, mechanical/electrical works, inspections, testing, and handover processes.\\n\\n * Supporting commissioning teams by ensuring entry criteria and installation quality prerequisites are met.\\n\\n * Leading, mentoring, and developing supervisors and site personnel throughout the project lifecycle.\\n\\n * Implementing improvements across site processes to optimise efficiency and installation quality.\\n\\nWhat You Bring\\n\\nTo excel in this role, you should have:\\n\\n * Proven experience supervising or managing site teams on large-scale Automated Material Handling or Baggage Handling System projects.\\n\\n * Strong understanding of full project lifecycle stages—from pre-construction to final handover.\\n\\n * Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, resolve issues proactively, and chair site-level meetings.\\n\\n * Solid knowledge of CDM Regulations, Health & Safety at Work Act, and safe installation practices.\\n\\n * Strong technical understanding of engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, and project schedules.\\n\\n * Competence in planning site activities, creating lookahead schedules, and supporting master schedule requirements
