Sales Manager – Automated Materials Handling Solutions

Location: UK (Flexible)

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 Base + Excellent Bonus + Car + Additional Benefits

Are you a dynamic sales professional with a proven track record in selling automated solutions? We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join a leading provider of automated materials handling solutions . This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and shape the future of materials handling across multiple industries.

About the Role: In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving sales of our client’s innovative solutions across diverse sectors, with a primary focus on FMCG manufacturing and automotive manufacturing industries. You’ll have the opportunity to work with major players in these sectors, offering state-of-the-art automated solutions that streamline operations and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in FMCG and automotive manufacturing sectors
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions that align with their operational goals
  • Lead the entire sales process from initial contact through to project delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project delivery
  • Regular reporting and forecasting of sales activity

About You:

  • Proven experience in sales of automated solutions or capital equipment, ideally in the FMCG or automotive manufacturing sectors
  • Strong understanding of materials handling solutions , warehouse automation, or similar technologies
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships
  • A consultative sales approach with a focus on delivering value to clients
  • Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working to targets and deadlines
