Project Director – Warehouse Automation

Salary: £800 – £1000/ day

We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major warehouse automation projects. This senior-level role will oversee the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through to commissioning, systems integration, and maintenance, ensuring operational performance and long-term reliability of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee full project lifecycle from planning to handover
• Lead commissioning and integration of automated systems
• Develop maintenance and asset care strategies
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk
• Act as primary interface with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven leadership in warehouse automation or industrial projects
• Strong expertise in commissioning and integration processes
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and reliability practices
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Relevant degree; PMP/PRINCE2 certification advantageous
