Registered Nurse – Day Night Shifts Available We are recruiting an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join a well-established care home in the Huntingdon area, providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
Job Purpose - Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care in line with the home's philosophy, values and standards - Act as the senior clinician on duty, ensuring the smooth and safe running of the home - Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans - Support and supervise care staff - Ensure safe medicines management - Carry out or assist with personal care when required Requirements - Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with an active, unrestricted NMC PIN - Minimum 1 year post-registration nursing experience - Sound knowledge of NMC Standards of Proficiency, medicines management, safeguarding, CQC/CI regulations, dementia and mental health care Key Skills - Clinical assessment and care planning - Medication administration - Leadership and staff supervision - Strong communication and documentation - Confident with electronic care plans / e MAR systems - Ability to work autonomously and manage emergencies Hours Flexible shifts as rostered, including weekends and bank holidays.
Night duty is wakeful unless notified otherwise.
Days shift is also available.
