We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a children's residential home across the London and Essex area. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, within a well-established and Ofsted-registered provider.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with Ofsted regulations, and the continued development of your team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a residential children's home in line with Ofsted standards and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each young person
  • Recruit, supervise, and support a dedicated staff team
  • Build strong relationships with external agencies, families, and local authorities
  • Maintain full regulatory compliance and prepare for Ofsted inspections
  • Manage budgets, rotas, and day-to-day operational requirements
Requirements:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection framework and Children’s Homes Regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
