At Innovative Trials, we don’t just lead the way in patient recruitment solutions - we redefine the patient journey! To support our ambitious goals for the next 3 years, we have transformed our technology stack to put Salesforce at the core.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator or Consultant looking to step up into a delivery leadership role. You will act as the "Construction Manager" to our IT Manager’s "City Planner." You won't be bogged down in contract negotiations; your job is to bridge the gap between the design team and the technical team to get things built, tested, and live.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivery Execution & Scope Management: Take the roadmap and break it down into weeks, sprints, and tickets. Be a Scope Guardian: Work with the IT Manager to protect the team's capacity by managing "scope creep," ensuring ad-hoc requests don’t derail our long-term goals. Translate business needs into technical tasks, acting as the translator between the "Strategy" and the "Code."
- Vendor, Quality & Platform Evolution: Act as the daily point of contact for our external partners, ensuring they deliver quality work (and sending tickets back if they are not up to standard). Drive Platform Evolution: Look beyond the immediate sprint. Identify technical debt and optimisation opportunities to ensure our Org matures efficiently over the next 3 years. Champion order by enforcing strict processes regarding Sandboxes, Change Sets, and Documentation.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor a Software Tester, overseeing their daily configuration work and helping them grow their technical skills. Report directly to the IT Manager, allowing them to handle budget and policy while you focus on the build. Grow with the Org: Join right after go-live, taking ownership of a fresh, modern org to mould and shape.
Requirements
- Essential: Salesforce Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the ecosystem. You know Flows, Security Models, and Object Architecture inside out. Project Management Fundamentals: You are organised and familiar with tracking work via tickets/sprints. You know how to drive a timeline. The "Foreman Mindset": You are comfortable getting hands-on when needed but know when to delegate to keep the wider project moving. Communication Skills: The ability to explain technical constraints to non-technical stakeholders clearly and empathetically. Process Pro: A strong belief in documentation and environment management to bring order to chaos.
- Desirable: Salesforce Native PM Apps: Experience with Salesforce-native Project Management/PSA tools (Ie Klient PSA, TaskRay, Kantata/Kimble, Certinia). IT Ops Familiarity: Previous exposure to Google Workspace (G-Suite) and Mac OS environments.
