Role Overview
A senior, client-facing D365 Business Central Functional Consultant with strong manufacturing and warehousing experience. You’ll lead end-to-end BC implementations, run workshops, shape solutions, and guide customers through best practice. Exposure to Solution Architecture is a major advantage, with a clear progression path into that role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and solution design
- Map manufacturing and warehouse processes into scalable BC configurations
- Own functional design documentation and process mapping
- Deliver workshops, demos, and training to senior stakeholders
- Support full lifecycle delivery from design to go-live and hypercare
- Work closely with architects, developers, and PMs to ensure quality delivery
- Advise clients on best practice, optimisation, and BC capability
- Contribute to templates, accelerators, and delivery frameworks
Required Experience
- Strong functional experience across D365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
- Proven delivery of end-to-end BC implementations
- Deep understanding of manufacturing (discrete, process, or mixed-mode)
- Strong experience with warehousing, stock, inventory, and logistics flows
- Confident leading workshops and managing senior stakeholders
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within a Microsoft Partner or consultancy environment
Bonus Skills
- Exposure to Solution Architecture or high-level solution design
- Knowledge of SCM, Production Planning, or advanced warehousing
- Power Platform exposure
- Understanding of AL extensions, integrations, or data migration
