Senior D365 Business Central Business Development Specialist UK Remote About the company
Our client is one of the fastest growing Microsoft partners in the UK and Europe, with Dynamics 365 Business Central at the heart of its growth. They help ambitious small and mid sized businesses move off legacy systems such as NAV, Sage and QuickBooks onto modern cloud ERP.
They combine strong delivery credentials with a people first culture, and are investing heavily in their sales function to keep pace with demand across the UK and continental Europe.
The role As Senior Business Development Specialist, you will win larger, more complex Business Central deals and grow the partner's footprint across the UK and Europe. You will own the full sales cycle, from first conversation through to signed contract, working closely with presales consultants and the delivery team. As a senior member of the sales team, you will help shape sales strategy and share your experience with colleagues.
Location: UK based, hybrid or remote, with travel to client sites and Microsoft events as needed
Reporting to: Head of Sales
Key responsibilities Win and close larger, strategic new business deals for Dynamics 365 Business Central across the UK and Europe
Build a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and inbound leads
Run discovery sessions to understand each prospect's processes, pain points and growth plans
Work with presales and solution architects to shape demos, proposals and statements of work
Position complementary offerings such as Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot and ISV add ons
Build strong relationships with the Microsoft partner team and leverage Microsoft funding programmes
Manage opportunities accurately in CRM and deliver reliable monthly and quarterly forecasts
Negotiate commercials and contracts, and hand over smoothly to the delivery team
Represent the business at Microsoft events, webinars and industry shows
