Our client, a global leader embarking on an ambitious multi-year transformation programme, is seeking a Principal Dynamics 365 CE Architect to own the architecture of their strategic, global CRM solution. This is a rare greenfield opportunity: building on a newly established Dynamics 365 Customer Service platform, you will hold end-to-end accountability for the technical design of the CRM as it scales into the enterprise-wide system of engagement.
You will set the technical direction, own the key design decisions, and lead a high-performing D365 development team within an Agile, product-based delivery model, all while staying genuinely hands-on with Dynamics 365 CE and the Power Platform.
The role:
- Own the D365 CE architecture end-to-end from vision through to delivered design, defining the target architecture, design principles and standards that govern how the CRM is built and extended.
- Act as design authority for the platform, making key design decisions and reviewing/approving solution designs to protect architectural integrity.
- Stay hands-on in D365 CE and Power Platform prototyping and proving out designs, not just drawing diagrams.
- Make deliberate low-code vs pro-code decisions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Business Process Flows where configuration wins; plugins, custom APIs, JavaScript as needed.
