We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Consultant to train and support the internal Data Team in building cloud-based ETL pipelines using Power Platform Dataflows and Power Query. This work underpins the organisation's migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, with a production go live planned for early 2027.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on training to a team of four on Power Query and Power Platform Dataflows
- Guide the design of a scalable ETL framework for recurring flat file imports
- Support the team in building initial ingestion pipelines into Dataverse/D365
- Review and refine transformation logic, mapping, and pipeline structure
- Provide expert oversight during UAT, including error handling configuration
- Optionally build specific pipelines or mapping logic if internal capacity requires
Technical Scope
- Recurring Excel/CSV imports from third party providers
- Six core D365 data patterns
- Build a two-tier pipeline model:
- Pre-processing tier: standardise diverse source files into a unified schema
- Loading tier: upsert into D365 with robust de-duplication and matching logic
