Innovative Systems, a worldwide leader of hi-tech data management, AML compliance, and Payment Screening solutions, is looking for a high-achieving detail-oriented Payments Product Manager who wants to be with an organization where they can make a REAL IMPACT! Innovative provides just the right mix of opportunities.
A Payments Product Manager faces the ongoing challenge of balancing speed, accuracy, and compliance in an environment where regulatory expectations evolve faster than product release cycles. Unlike traditional screening, payments screening requires navigating complex global sanctions regimes, AML obligations, and fraud-prevention standards—each with its own data formats, rules, and enforcement nuances. Delivering real-time decisioning while minimizing false-positive rates becomes a core tension, especially as customers demand instant payments, agentic reviews, and seamless user experiences.
Ensuring the product remains technically resilient while integrating with diverse payment rails, third-party data providers, and core banking systems adds operational and architectural complexity that must be managed on an ongoing basis. At the same time, the product manager must understand and operationalize compliance requirements that differ across jurisdictions, industries, and transaction types. This means translating regulatory mandates into actionable product functionalities while addressing customer pain points such as workflow bottlenecks, alert fatigue, screening latency, and evolving risk typologies.
Engaging customers is both essential and challenging: they expect ease of use, rapid enhancements, and high configurability to match their internal policies. The PM must continuously prioritize features that minimize customer risk while ensuring the product remains competitive, scalable, and adaptable to new forms of payments.
Reporting to the Head of Product Management, you’ll help define and evolve Innovative’s payments capabilities across multiple rails and geographies, partnering closely with customers, engineers, and industry experts. Your work will directly influence how organizations detect financial crime while delivering modern, real-time payment experiences.
This role is a great fit if you:
- Are energized by the payments ecosystem
- Enjoy solving complex, real-world problems
- Thrive at the crossroads of customer needs, technology, and regulation
This is not a “sit in meetings and write requirements” role. This is a chance to influence product direction, work directly with customers, and help ensure that complex payment flows are screened accurately, efficiently, and defensibly—at global scale. If you want your work to have real regulatory, operational, and customer impact, you’ll find the opportunity here.
This full-time position is based at our London headquarters office in Tower 42, the heart of London’s financial district. We offer a flexible hybrid work environment. Innovative has an autonomous, flexible, and open culture, great colleagues, and many opportunities for career growth. Our collaborative environment encourages a supportive environment and the building of strong mentorships both locally and with our international colleagues.
