SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.

Responsibilities

  • Advising managers on employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, and performance management
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies
  • Assisting with training, development, and engagement initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and HR metrics
  • Supporting with initiatives that increase engagement amongst all staff
  • Preparing bi-weekly payroll

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, preferably within manufacturing or a fast-paced operational setting
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A practical, solutions-focused approach
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working towards) is desirable

Work Pattern

Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm, Friday 8.30am – 2.30pm. After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9-day fortnight.
