*Supervise and monitor the safety of children inside the home and community.

*Prepare meals and organise mealtimes and snacks for children.

*Help children keep good hygiene.

*Display yourself as a positive role model

*Promote a positive attitude, resilience and empathy

*Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day/night that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe.

*Promoting positive behaviours and outcomes.

*Taking young people on activities, education, appointment and family visits.

Driving License essential – role requires staff to take young people to appointments/meetings and activities.

Minimum age 21– Regulations for the business require that staff have a minimum age gap between them and the young people we care for.

· AMBeR (Behaviour Management Programme)

  • Drugs/Alcohol awareness

  • Emergency First Aid at Work.

  • First Aid at Work

  • Fire Awareness

  • Food Hygiene

  • Health & Safety awareness

  • Infection Control

  • Paediatric First Aid

  • Safeguarding (Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children)

  • Suicide and Self Harm Awareness

  • *AWIF (all wales induction training)

  • QCF qualifications as your role develops

There is also excellent future prospects for further development and progression into management roles within the business.

As part of the role a DBS check will be carried out on all applicants as required by law. (We will fund this)

Please let us know if you’re signed up to the DBS update service (this will be re-embused to you yearly)

Flexibility needed as shifts will include days, waking nights and weekends.
