Full training provided.

Type: minimum of 2 shifts per week. Days or nights 8‑8.

Salary: £15 – £16.60 per hour (includes holiday pay accrual).

Requirements: recent UK experience in a complex care setting (tracheostomy and spinal cord injury experience essential) and full right to work in the UK.

Your Role

As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant for Innovate Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care for our client based in South Ockenden. We are looking for a chatty and proactive candidate that is happy to engage in lots of conversation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, along with a confident and compassionate approach to care.

Clinical Support Required:

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Cough assist
  • Invasive ventilation via tracheostomy
  • Autonomic dysreflexia
  • Catheter care
  • Moving and handling
  • Personal care
  • Activities of daily living
  • CPAP/BiPAP

You’ll be part of a consistent care team, typically supporting one client at a time in this stable, long‑term role.

  • At least 12 months of care experience including tracheostomy and spinal cord injury
  • Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence

  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
