Job description:

  • Full training provided
  • Type: Full time minimum of 2 shifts per week
  • Salary: £14 – £16 per hour (includes holiday pay accrual – Holiday pay is accrued and held separately, not paid out weekly)
  • Working pattern: Various shift patterns available – days and nights, week days and weekends
  • Requirements: To be eligible to apply, you must hold full right to work in the UK and be able to drive

Your Role

You will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, outstanding care of clients with complex healthcare needs, providing compassionate, tailored support to promote independence and wellbeing. Clinical skills and experience would be advantageous in the following areas: mental health conditions, acquired brain injury, and respiratory/ventilation requirements –

  • Tracheostomy and ventilation care
  • Suctioning
  • PEG feeding
  • Monitoring observations
  • Cough assist
  • Behavioral support

You’ll be part of a consistent care team, typically supporting one client at a time in this stable, long-term role.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 12 months of homecare experience
  • Experience with complex needs such as brain injury, behavioral and learning difficulties and ventilation care
  • Car driver
  • Compassion, professionalism, and reliability
  • Good communication skills and IT confidence
  • Willingness to be part of a family-centred care team
  • Hold an understanding of safeguarding
  • Ability to recognise deterioration in both psychological and physical health
