The Role:
Join a systems design team specializing in cutting-edge Data Link electronics. Collaborate with international colleagues to lead the development of advanced technology across the entire lifecycle, from concept to deployment. You’ll contribute to critical programs in areas such as Ground-Based Air Defence, Deep Strike, and Air Dominance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead systems design activities alongside subject-matter experts in Data Link technology.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for verifying and validating electrical, mechanical, software, and other system properties.
- Support system certification by working with Equipment Design Authorities and test teams to ensure compliance and delivery.
- Conduct technical trade studies and manage systems design work packages to achieve value-driven outcomes.
Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in systems engineering, particularly in hardware, firmware, and software integration.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and tools like IBM DOORS and Rhapsody.
- Strong interest in enhancing systems engineering skills and improving team methodologies.
