We are excited to offer a position for an RF Design Engineer and a Team Lead with strong technical expertise in RF design to contribute to cutting-edge defence projects. As an RF Design Engineer, you will be working on the research, design, and testing of advanced radio-frequency technology. You’ll apply your hands-on expertise to modify and prototype systems as required.

Team Lead position available:

The Team Lead role requires strong leadership skills to manage work packages and provide day-to-day guidance to the team, ensuring the design and delivery of challenging and innovative RF projects.

What are we looking for in our next RF Design Engineer?

  • Proven hands-on experience in RF design and testing across a wide frequency range (e.g., 30MHz to 30GHz), including LNAs, high-power amplifiers, filters, oscillators, synthesizers, and modulators.
  • Experience in RF design for harsh environments (EMC, vibration, thermal).
  • Strong background in digital, analogue, and power supply design.
  • Ability to conduct design validation tests and trials in an onsite laboratory.
  • Proficient in using RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analysers, Power Meters, and VNAs, with excellent soldering and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with RF design tools (e.g., Microwave Office), including layout design.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including design for manufacture and testing.

Team Lead:

  • Strong technical expertise in RF design, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage RF design work packages.
  • Proven leadership skills, capable of guiding a team and driving successful project outcomes.
