Our client is seeking a PMO Finance Analyst to join their team. Happy to consider early careers or experienced candidates for this position. We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Programme Finance Analyst to oversee financial planning, reporting, and cost management for key programmes. Working closely with Programme Managers and stakeholders, you will ensure financial accuracy, drive efficiency, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse programme costs, forecasts, and financial performance.
  • Support Programme Managers and Work Package Leads in budgeting, cost estimation, and financial planning.
  • Monitor actual financials against bid estimates and ongoing forecasts, identifying variances and potential risks.
  • Ensure timesheet bookings accurately reflect labour costs across projects.
  • Maintain financial schedules, sub-ledgers, and reports to track programme finances.
  • Conduct variance analysis on costs, schedules, and scope, proactively addressing discrepancies.
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring alignment with programme requirements.
  • Prepare financial reports for customers in line with contractual obligations.
  • Manage programme cash flow, gross margin analysis, and invoicing processes.
  • Assist with financial modelling, project budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Provide financial insights to Programme Managers and senior leadership.
  • Lead formal quarterly Programme Cost Reviews.
  • Support month-end closing processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in a related field or related experience.
  • Analytical.
  • Proficient with Excel.
