We’re supporting a leading engineering organisation delivering complex, safety-critical systems for UK and international customers. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Architect to join a multidisciplinary team working on advanced integrated equipment solutions across the full product lifecycle.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining electrical architectures and requirements for complex systems operating in demanding environments. The role involves close collaboration with engineering teams and stakeholders to support delivery from early concept through to production and in-service support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop electrical architectures for new and existing programmes
- Maintain technical requirements and documentation throughout the lifecycle
- Support certification, compliance, and safety activities
- Assist with system integration and electrical design governance
- Provide technical support across multidisciplinary teams
Experience Required
- Background in electrical engineering or electrical installations
- Experience with LV/ELV systems, grounding, bonding, and power distribution
- Knowledge of electrical compliance standards such as BS 7671
- Experience working with complex electro-mechanical or mobile/platform-based systems
- Hands-on installation, testing, or commissioning experience beneficial
- HND/HNC or equivalent qualification desirable
