What You’ll Be Doing:
- Translating complex system specifications into firmware design requirements and ensuring seamless integration.
- Leading firmware development, testing, and simulation to drive system performance.
- Developing and refining robust verification processes to ensure reliability.
- Producing key project documentation, including design specs, test plans, and interface definitions.
- Identifying and resolving technical challenges related to certification, qualification, and safety.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Supporting planning, estimations, and design changes at various project stages.
- Coaching and mentoring junior engineers, with the potential to take on lead roles such as Project Engineering Lead or Work Package Manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Extensive firmware development experience across the full project lifecycle.
- FPGA, VHDL
- Strong background in designing complex electronic systems.
- Experience with prototyping, testing, and verification of electronic subsystems.
- Defence, aerospace, or maritime experience preferred.
- Must be eligible for SC clearance.
