We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering and experience in PLC/HMI Controls to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Siemens PLC and HMI systems, with a focus on airside operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting critical systems while ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical machinery.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating to specification, following company procedures and safety protocols.
  • Work with Siemens PLC/HMI systems for system diagnostics, programming, and updates.
  • Carry out fault diagnostics and troubleshooting on electrical and control systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Adhere to airside safety and security protocols and complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Respond to urgent repair needs, ensuring timely resolution to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Support the continuous improvement of systems and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working with PLC and HMI controls, Siemens systems preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
  • Airside vetting to CTC level (Counter Terrorist Check) is required.
  • Must be able to work the shift pattern as per the operational requirements.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Siemens PLC programming and HMI systems.
  • Prior experience working in an airport or similar regulated environment.
